SU Clubs

There is much more to learning than attending classes. That’s why your SU provides opportunities for you to get involved in clubs, student societies and various student led activities on campus.

Your SU nearly 300 clubs, with clubs for students involved in athletics, music, theatre, social issues, volunteering, religion, cultural issues, politics and academics, quite literally there’s something for everyone!

Join a Club! Get Involved!

Joining an SU sanctioned club allows you to improve your leadership skills, make a difference in others’ lives, express your opinion, as well as network with other students who share your interests.

You can find out more about the clubs on campus through information fairs (Clubs Weeks) that are held at the beginning of the fall and winter semesters. You are also welcome to drop by the SU Club Offices located in MacEwan Student Centre or check out our list of existing clubs which includes contact information for each club.

Start Your Own Club!

If you don’t see a club that relates to your particular interests, you can apply to start your own club!
If approved, your club is eligible to receive a number of supports from your SU including start-up grants, funding for events as well as meeting space.
