Students' Union Releases 2012 Report to the Community

In the spirit of transparency and open communication with the student and campus community, the Students’ Union has released its annual Report to the Community.

The Report describes the many faces and roles of the Student’s Union and accomplishments and progress in 2011-2012 that have resulted from the dedicated work of student leaders, volunteers and the staff of the SU on behalf of the undergraduate community. The Report cites data from the 2011 SU Student Survey to show how student views have influenced SU directions.

The SU has remained committed to investing in undergraduate students at the U of C to build pride in their institution, help them achieve their postsecondary goals and enjoy the student experience.

“It is important that undergraduate students better understand the scope of our organization and the many ways we interact with individual students, student groups, the student and campus community as a whole and the university itself,” said Hardave Birk, SU President. “I am proud to lead a student team that has dedicated itself to more than 25,000 undergraduate students and made significant advances in engaging students at this university”.
