Hi! My name is Jeremy, and I’m in the final year of my Masters of Planning. I did my undergrad in Architecture majoring in Urbanism and I’m very passionate about all things architecture, urban design, and urban planning. I’d love to help students in the Bachelor of Design in City Innovation or those in the School of Architecture, Planning, and Landscape Architecture. I can also help with portfolio creation for applications to architecture or planning programs (for those who don’t have a design background, don’t worry :))
If you’re someone who loves the creative side of design, I can help you channel your creative passion into a purposeful design. I have perspective on how design decisions affect style and function, and can help you create the content that profs are looking for, while allowing your creative ideas to shine.
If you need help with software or crafting a professional portfolio, I’d also be glad to help you with graphical aspects of your portfolios or class assignments. I am proficient in Illustrator, AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and ArcGIS.
If you want help with writing assignments, I also enjoy writing and help you navigate complex topics clearly. I understand what professors are looking for in writing, so I can guide you through that process. I have a deep interest and knowledge in urban history, architectural styles, and planning and design theory. I understand how the built environment has evolved culturally, socially, and technologically and how different design decisions impact it. Additionally, my hands-on experience with a community-based design project, transforming a parking lot into a public space, gives me a unique perspective that can enrich your work.
