DESCRIPTION:Expressions of Love will follow the scriptural reasoning approach to interfaith dialogue. Each faith community represented will pick a short passage from their scripture surrounding the topic of ‘expressions of love’. Each passage is read out loud for the group. Then participants will get the chance to reflect on the passage\, ask any questions that they may have\, bring up things that struck them\, and discuss the passage as much as they are comfortable with. Faith Representatives that work with UCalgary’s Faith & Spirituality Centre will host this event\, bringing wisdom from their respective traditions. SUMMARY:RAISE-ing Our Voices
DESCRIPTION:This is a drop-in style gallery where students will be able to view and add to different prompts and responses gathered from the campus community. These prompts will have a range in topics like relationships\, sexual and gender wellness\, education\, and more! The goal of the collages of responses is to create a space for open and honest conversations\, increase awareness and understanding to sexual and gender wellness\, and to promote positive change in the campus community. Students who want to be involved in sharing their stories and experiences ahead of time can go to our Instagram page @raise.ucalgary where the form will be posted throughout January. Your responses will be treated with utmost respect and confidentiality. We aim to create a safe space where everyone feels comfortable sharing their unique perspectives. On the day of the event students will not need to bring anything as all the supplies will be set up and ready\, students will be able to walk through the room and view all the anonymous responses for each prompt and add their own responses as well to engage with the conversations. This is a time for students to meet one another to share\, reflect\, and learn from each others stories and experiences.

DESCRIPTION:The SU Campus Food Bank is an official depot for the Good Food Box program and our services are open to the campus community! \nThe Good Food Box program is run through the Community Kitchen Program of Calgary and aims to provide community members with greater access to affordable\, nutritious and sustainable fresh fruits and vegetables. The program purchases produce directly from local farmers and wholesalers. The program is run by volunteers that pack the boxes full of fruits and vegetables to be delivered to depots across the city. \n\nPickup dates for this order date is February 28 to March 1. Please confirm times at time of order.\nOrders NOT PICKED UP by 4:00 PM on March 1 will be discarded.
