DESCRIPTION:Hosted by NIGERIAN STUDENTS’ ASSOCIATION\, AFRICAN CARIBBEAN ASSOCIATION\, ETHIOPIAN-ERITREAN ASSOCIATION: This workshop will provide students with an explanation on the importance of diversity in higher education\, the tools\, and further accessibility that should exist for minority-groups that are pursuing roles of authority in the field of research. We will also focus on why it is important for minority-groups to pursue higher leadership roles in the Field of Research because of the benefits it creates and the new perspective it shapes in the field. We will discuss the lack of conversation occuring in relation to why there is an underrepresentation of minority groups in the role of research leadership positions on campus\, the importance of inclusivity\, and how it creates inclusive policies on campus. \nRSVP
