Having recently graduated from SAPL’s architecture program, where I was a teaching and research assistant for several terms, I have a first hand understanding of the many challenges the architecture curriculum can pose to students entering the program from diverse backgrounds. Every student has different learning needs and I am happy to work with individuals one-on-one or in small study groups to figure out how we can take your skills and projects to the next level. My teaching philosophy focuses on reaching a thorough understanding of core concepts and developing creative processes for tackling diverse design problems. I have tutored a number of students and been a TA for the Design Media and Exploration Courses (Graphics 1 & 2) teaching mastery of all of the main architectural softwares and creative design techniques to achieve advanced architectural ambitions. I worked as an RA with the Laboratory for Integrative Design applying these tools and techniques on real world computational design projects. Finally, I have extensive industry experience working with large and small Architecture firms across Canada in a variety of roles.
