Hi, my name is Sodeeq, and I am currently a Master of Engineering student (Software Engineering) at the University of Calgary. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science in 2024 with First Class Honours and have also had a short stint in the industry as a software engineer.
Through both academic and industry experience, I have developed a strong foundation in computer science, software systems, and problem-solving. I have an excellent understanding of Mathematics (high school to 200-level) and Computer Science/Software Engineering across undergraduate levels. During my undergraduate studies, I frequently helped peers break down and understand complex concepts.
My tutoring sessions are highly interactive. I focus on understanding how students think so I can identify misconceptions and help build strong reasoning skills. The pace of learning is based entirely on comprehension rather than time. I cannot guarantee that a topic will be completed in a single session, as I prioritize understanding over speed. However, if a concept is grasped quickly, we can cover multiple topics in one session. I am patient and only move forward when I am confident the student fully understands the material
