I am a PhD candidate in Statistics at the University of Calgary with extensive teaching assistant experience in statistics, data science, and mathematics, including DATA 602/603, MATH 209/211, and several STAT/MATH courses. I am comfortable tutoring statistics, calculus, linear algebra, probability, and data analysis.
My tutoring style focuses on explaining concepts clearly and step by step, followed by examples and practice problems. I prefer to meet in person, and do lots of hand writings to help students understand lecture material, work through difficult concepts, prepare for quizzes and exams. I am patient and can adjust the pace and level of explanation based on each student’s background.
