CLUBS WEEK 2026
It’s almost time for Clubs Week 2026, when SU-registered clubs set up stations in Mac Hall, showcase their activities, and answer any questions prospective members might have. This year, Clubs Week will run January 19 – January 21, running from 9:00am to 5:00pm in the North Courtyard of MacEwan Student Centre. Find out more on our Clubs Week page.
2026/27 RE-REGISTRATION
It’s time for SU Registered Clubs to re-register for the 2026/2027 academic year! Re-registration is required by each SU Registered Club on a yearly basis to maintain affiliation with the SU. Re-Registration is your club’s ticket to accessing perks exclusive to SU Registered Clubs, such as free event spaces, funding for club activities, and more!
To successfully complete re-registration, clubs must provide the following:
- A roster with at least 20 members that includes the name, email address, and UCID (if applicable) of each member. At least two-thirds of members must be current University of Calgary undergraduate students.
- A club bank statement dated within the last three months.
- A list of the club’s income and expenditures for the year.
- A properly ratified governing document (i.e., bylaws or constitution) updated within the last five years.
- Confirmation of successful transition of the executive team for the upcoming year.
The re-registration form is currently open on ClubHub and is available to all clubs, including clubs that are locked. The re-registration form closes on May 15th at 11:59 pm. This is the only opportunity clubs have to re-register for the upcoming academic year. Clubs that do not complete re-registration will lose all privileges associated with being an SU Registered Club. The Clubs Office can offer no exceptions to this deadline.

2026/27 NEW CLUB REGISTRATION REQUESTS
The deadline for new club registration requests to be considered for the 2026/27 academic year is May 15th at 11:59 pm. Information on how to request to register a new club can be found below in the “Start a Club” section!
CLUB AWARDS!
You can log into ClubHub to nominate the clubs you care most about for a Club Award! Forms for the Outstanding Jr. Exec Award and Eric Lahoda Memorial Scholarship will also become available on ClubHub on Monday, December 1, at 10:00 AM. Please note, the submission deadline for all forms is Friday, January 30, at 11:59 PM, so get started on your applications now! Clubs Awards are designed to award excellence in team leadership, sustainable practices, advocacy, and innovation. Multiple awards, each valued at $250.00, will be awarded this year. Award recipients will be notified no later than four weeks after the deadline. Awards are presented at the 2026 SU Club Awards Event, to be held on April 9, 2026.
Rules
- Club must be in good standing with the SU (Active status);
- Remember that judges will look for quality of nominations over quantity of nominations;
- A club can only receive one award per year;
- Any individual may nominate any club, including executives, club members, and people from the campus community;
- Each application submitted must be unique in content;
- Applications should provide as much detail as possible in support of the nomination.
